This project aims to transform carpets and rugs from their traditional roles as functional or background elements for furniture into pieces that can bring life and vibrancy to a space on their own. The design originated from patterning the unnoticed curves found in nature and daily life, such as clouds, waves, stacked and folded papers, or tangled strings. These patterns are characterized by high saturation and brightness contrast, combined with the soft texture and thickness achieved through the tufting technique, creating an eye-catching effect.
