This work originated from my physical imperfections and the surgeries I underwent during my childhood, as well as the recovery process. Observing how my skin gradually healed and imperfectly covered my wounds made me imagine what the healed appearance would look like. I embraced the scars left by regeneration not as negative memories but as a transformative process necessary for maturity. I aimed to recreate them as evidence of life's struggles and vitality. This sculpture explores the aesthetics of random and unpredictable transformed recovery that occurs as everyday objects in nature are disassembled, reassembled, and healed.
